Living On
You remain in my mind
This brightest moment in time
You survive right here
In my memories as I breathe.
Even when I first held you
Being able to sing to you
Sharing laughter with you
Crying hurt tears for you.
We grew together
Far above the mountain tops of time
Way past the loftiest breeze
To wherever you would be.
I am now feeling you
Looking at you in those moments
Knowing how this is you
So many memories ago.
You there with me here
Yet in the eye of my thoughts
I still hold you in love
For it is here you are
